Based on Arch Linux, with heavy modifications and kernel optimizations. In my experience, it’s an all-around versatile distro that works for all my personal, gaming and creative pursuits all-in-one. CachyOS also adds some very helpful packages to their pacman repo that are not available on vanilla Arch.

It also takes very little time to setup and get working, which in the scheme of things, makes it a top competitor on my list of Linux distros that I prefer.
