There are multiple workflows for Color Grading and Color transforms in DaVinci Resolve. I’m including the methods that are most useful to me, and/or ones that seem like they can be useful in current or future projects.

Export using OpenEXR ro MultiLayer EXR.

Blender AgX EXR to Rec709 (1:1 Blender Viewport w/ Full Color Gamut)

Import OCIO config file from Blender’s files into an OCIO Color Transform node in either the Fusion tab(preferred) or the Color tab. Linear Rec709 -> AgX Base sRGB -> Look/LUT

Use Blender 4.5 LTS Color Management Files on Linux because thats the latest OCIO that the Linux version supports. (Max ocio_profile_version: 2.4).

Blender ACEScg/ACES 2.0 EXR to Rec709 (Industry VFX Standard)

If Blender EXR exports are configured to ACEScg, then you can use the ACES Color Transform node in the Fusion or Color tabs to convert it from ACES 2.0/ACEScg to Linear Rec709 BT.1886 (or) you can enter the project settings Color Management section and set it, in which case it would look like this:

Color science ACEScct -> ACES version ACES 2.0 -> Input Transform ACEScg -> Output Transform Rec709 BT.1886

UE5 EXR to Rec709

See William Faucher’s Workflow on YouTube.

Houdini EXR

I have never had to change the color space of the EXR files from Houdini, but when I learn how to define the color space as ACES or Linear, I will update this here.
